Workers’ Townhall on Affordability

As the cost of living continues to rise, Lehigh Valley workers are feeling the squeeze. From the grocery store and the gas pump to housing and utilities, staying afloat shouldn’t be this hard.

It’s time for our representatives to show up for the workers who keep this valley running. Join local workers and labor leaders for a community town hall focused on one thing: affordability. We have invited our elected officials of the Lehigh Valley which include state senators, state representatives, and U.S. Congressman Ryan Mackenzie to attend. We are here to ensure our representatives hear directly from the people they serve. This is your floor. Share your experiences with affordability in the Lehigh Valley and come prepared to ask questions to your Congressman and state legislators on their plans for relief.

Join For Our Future PA and Affordable PA for the Workers’ Townhall on Affordability on Thursday, May 7th, at the UAW Local 677 Union Hall (2102 Mack Blvd #1, Allentown). Doors open at 6:00 PM; the program begins at 6:30 PM.

Energy Math: Why Your Bill is Going Up and Clean Jobs are Going Down

Energy bills are rising and many in our community are feeling the impact. Let’s come together to form a united front in support of clean energy and lower energy costs.

Join For Our Future PA and Conservation Voters of Pennsylvania to learn about actions we can take to offer residents relief and how recent votes by Ryan Mackenzie are affecting both our wallets and environment.

This conversation will bring together local advocates, policy experts, and community members directly impacted by rising energy costs to break down what’s happening and why it matters.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • What these decisions mean for energy prices in our region

  • The environmental consequences of recent policy choices

  • What accountability looks like and what we can do next

This is a space for honest conversation, community voices, and real answers. All are welcome!
